Welcome back to our bi-weekly update on the Badger Heights Plaza development project in Richland, WA. We are thrilled to share the latest milestones and upcoming plans for this exciting multi-tenant commercial development.
Over the past two weeks, significant progress has been made at Badger Heights Plaza. Here are the key updates:
Exterior Walls: The exterior walls have been successfully erected, giving shape to the buildings and providing a glimpse of the final structure.
Site Lighting: Installation of site lighting has been completed, ensuring the area is well-lit and safe for future tenants and visitors.
Curbing: Curbing work has been finished, defining the parking areas and enhancing the overall layout of the site. The curbing also enhances where the drive thru will be.
Concrete Walkways: Concrete walkways have been poured, providing smooth and accessible paths throughout the plaza.
Paving: The site has been paved, marking a major step towards the completion of the development.
About Badger Heights Plaza
Phase 1 of 3 is currently underway and will be completed by December 2024. This phase includes:
Suites: 3-6 suites with an end cap drive-thru.
Building Features: Two-story buildings with expansive views of the surrounding area from balconies and vast windows.
This development marks the first opportunity for commercial use in the Badger Mountain South Community, which has experienced 150% growth and continues to expand.
What’s Popping Up in the Area?
The Badger Mountain South Community is exploding with new developments:
30+ Acre Park: The first phase of West Village Park is underway.. Phase 1, which is approximately 4.5 acres
includes parking, landscaping, grass play areas, a bathroom, and space for a playground, which will be installed in Phase 2. Phase 1 construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2024.
Affinity 55+ Neighborhood: This neighborhood is rapidly growing, offering a vibrant community for residents aged 55 and older. It is estimated to be similar in style and amenities as the new Senior Apartment Complex that is currently under development off of Broadmoor In Pasco.
